Event planners rely on others to help them organize major events; the bigger the event you’re planning, the more people you will need on your side to pull it off. Make sure you talk to the right people to get your event off the ground, and to see your vision come to life.

Another important aspect of event planning is flexibility. Many times, event planners come to the realization some things are simply not doable. Although time and other factors may affect your plan as a whole, don’t let the details discourage you altogether. Be flexible when it comes to the little things so that you can adapt when necessary.

Will Heikkinen - Teaching Younger Students

Will Heikkinen has an advanced understanding of the Spanish language, and has experience teaching English to younger students in Madrid, Spain. Working with younger students has helped him develop his Spanish-speaking skills even further, and it’s also taught him the importance of teaching the right way. When teaching younger students, you have to be able to relate the material in a way that makes sense to them. Many of the kids won’t be able to retain or stay interested in the material by simply listening to you talk.
